These are a simple, perfect treat for Valentine’s Day! I love the Valentine’s M&M’s. They make this dessert so pretty!
Gather your ingredients. There’s only 5!!!
Mix cake mix, egg, canola oil, and milk.
After mixing in M&M’s, place in greased 9X13 pan.
Remove from oven after 20-25 minutes. They will look puffed up at first, but I promise you they will flatten as they cool!
Enjoy with your Valentine!
Valentine’s Day Red Velvet Cake Mix Brownies (adapted from http://girlmeetslife.com/2012/05/red-velvet-cake-batter-brownies)
1 box Red Velvet Cake Mix (do NOT follow directions on back of the box.)
1/4 cup canola oil
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup milk
1-1 1/2 cups of Valentine’s M&M’s
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9×13 baking dish.
Empty cake mix in large bowl. Add beaten egg and oil. Gradually add in milk.
The batter will be very dry, mix very well. I added a couple more tablespoons of canola oil. It will still be very thick, and not at all runny.
Fold in M&M’s.
Place in greased dish and pat batter down with your hands.
Place some additional M&M’s on top.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until batter comes out clean when inserted with a toothpick.
I decided not to take the time to calculate the nutritional information since it’s Valentine’s Day
